Data Scientist and Industrial Chemist
I am currently employed at EVN, working on operational optimisation as well as environmental and waste management at the waste incineration plant MVA Dürnrohr and on various incineration plant building projects. Additionally, I am involved in many innovative projects, mainly in the fields of resource recovery and data analysis.
In addition, I hold the responsibility for the integrated management system (IMS) a of the MVA Dürnrohr (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EMAS and EFB) as well as for the identity control of the waste deliveries according to the Austrian waste incineration regulation ('AVV').

Besides my employment at EVN, I am a seasoned data scientist. I have a deep understanding of both classical machine learning approachs (like SVMs, random forests, DBSCAN, ...) and artificial neural networks. My solid mathematical foundations allow me to no only apply those methods, but always make sure to use and parameterise them correctly.
You can find the libraries, toolboxes and programming languages I am using in the skills section, but in general, those are just tools and I am able to apply whatever is needed.
Due to my work at an industrial enterprise and my experience in plant operation and optimisation—both as an industrial chemist and as a data analyst—I hold a very specialised expertise in the intersection of data science and industry.
